Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Full refund excluding processing fees

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions

Conditions: Must be submitted via email or telephone in writing

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the total charter fee

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Conditions: A valid justification is required; administrative fees are applied

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No refund options are available

Exception: Situations of emergency may be taken into consideration

Alternative: A charter credit offer might be available as decided by management

Conditions: Emergencies must be substantiated with adequate documents

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our highest priority. In the event of inclement weather conditions deemed dangerous for the operation of the charter by our skilled captain, we provide versatile options:

  • Full Refund: If rescheduling is not possible, a complete refund is offered
  • Reschedule: You can reschedule to a new available date at no extra fee
  • Charter Credit: A voucher valid for one year from the original charter date is given

Weather Assessment Process

Our evaluation of the weather includes:

  • Examination of wind speeds and directions
  • Analysis of sea conditions and wave heights
  • Prognoses on visibility and expected precipitation
  • Notices and advisories from the Coast Guard
  • Professional assessment of maritime safety by our captain

Decision Timeline: Determinations regarding weather cancellations are made no later than 4 hours before the charter's scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

We recognize that medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly. The scenarios below might qualify for exceptional consideration:

  • Acute illness or injury necessitating admission to hospital
  • Death within the immediate family
  • Call-up or emergency recall for military service
  • Summoning for jury service or court orders
  • Disasters affecting travel such as natural calamities

Documentation Requirements

For emergency refund claims, the following proofs are required:

  • Medical documents or hospital records
  • Certificate of death (if relevant)
  • Military deployment orders
  • Legal orders for court appearance or jury service
  • Emergency declarations or travel alerts

Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are processed within 3-5 working days from the date proper evidence is provided.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Issues

In the case that the scheduled vessel encounters mechanical faults that cannot be promptly resolved:

  • Alternative Vessel: We will seek a similar substitute
  • Full Refund: Offered when an appropriate substitute is not available
  • Partial Refund: Offered if the replacement vessel has differing pricing
  • Compensation: Additional compensation for the inconvenience might be provided

Crew Unavailability

In the unlikely event that a certified crew cannot be arranged:

  • We will try to arrange a replacement crew when feasible
  • A full refund will be issued if the charter cannot take place
  • Rescheduling is offered without any extra charges

Refund Processing

Payment Method

Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method utilized at the time of booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Processing Fees

Credit Card Processing

€50 charge for cancellations requested more than 72 hours in advance

Bank Transfer Processing

€25 charge for all bank transfer refunds

International Processing

Extra fees could apply for transactions made internationally

Charter Credits

When Credits Are Offered

In specific circumstances, charter credits might be provided instead of refunds:

  • Late cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • User-initiated requests to reschedule
  • Interruptions caused by operational factors

Credit Terms

  • Validity: Credits are considered valid for 12 months from the issuance date
  • Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
  • Value: Credits are equivalent to the full value of the charter without deductions for processing
  • Usage: Credits can be applied towards any available future charters
  • Expiration: Credits expire after a 12-month period and will not be extended

Partial Service Refunds

Service Interruptions

If your charter experience is interrupted or cut short due to factors within our control:

  • A refund proportional to the unused portion
  • Credit towards another charter of equivalent value
  • Complimentary services or upgrades may be offered

Guest-Related Interruptions

If a charter needs to be ended prematurely due to the behavior or safety infractions of guests:

  • No compensation for the time not used
  • Full charges are still applicable
  • Extra costs might incur

Dispute Resolution

In the event you disagree with a refund determination, you can:

  • Seek a reassessment by our management
  • Submit further information or proof
  • Turn to consumer protection agencies for a solution
  • Engage in legal actions as permissible by relevant laws

How to Request a Refund

Your refund claim should include:

  • Your booking confirmation code
  • The date and time of your charter
  • The reason for your cancellation
  • Any relevant documents (if applicable)
  • Your preferred method for the refund

Step 3: Review and Processing

Once we receive your claim, our team will provide acknowledgement within one day, conduct the review against this policy within two days, and for approved refunds, process them within the timelines mentioned earlier.

Important Notes

  • All demands for refunds need to be made in writing
  • Refunds are executed in € independent of the payment currency utilized initially
  • Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended
  • This policy may be revised with a notification period of thirty days
  • All refunds are subjected to the applicable tax laws and regulations
